Shane Warne has vowed to make his relationship with Hollywood celebrity Elizabeth Hurley work despite the vast distance involved.
The former Australian cricketer and the actress have decided to spend more time getting to know their respective families before they tie the knot.
While Warne has three children, Hurley has a son who goes to boarding school when she is filming in New York. The sportsman admits that they face a challenge organising their schedules, but he is determined to make the relationship last, because the romance is so "special".
"For me, in my life at the moment, I'm in a really good place. My number one priority is my children and that's the most important thing - and my new family too, Elizabeth and her son Damian, and vice-versa. I'm in a great space personally... and probably the happiest I've ever been... For the first time in my life, I'm really comfortable where I'm at," the Daily Express quoted the former spinner as saying.
"There will be a fair bit of travelling involved but when you've got something that is as special as what Elizabeth and I have, it's worth a bit of a challenging schedule," he added.
